Schoemer Family Reunion
June 26, 27 & 28th @ Schoemer farm
We hope you have all made your plans to attend the reunion this summer. Reservations need to be made if you have not done so – there is only 1 non-smoking room left under the Schoemer block at the Quilt Inn. The phone number of the Quilt Inn is 701-385-4100, the San Way Ve number is 701-385-4238.
Plans have been made for meals and activities. Registration will begin at the farm starting around 1 PM.
Three meals will be catered, Friday evening, Saturday noon and evening. The cost will be $50/couple for the 2 days, single will be $25 for 2 days and $12.50 for one day. There will not be a charge for meals for children under 10 years of age but we will just need a total number of adults and children from each family attending.
To keep the cost down we would like each family to bring bars, cookies, chips, snacks, crackers, dips or whatever for everyone to snack on and enjoy. Coffee, water, soda and lemonade will be provided. Please bring your own alcoholic beverages.
If some could bring lawn or bag chairs it would be helpful. We will have regular folding chairs available but they are not too comfortable.
To help defray the expenses of the incidental items (water, soda, coffee and paper products) we would like to have a silent auction. This means each individual family would bring an item or more to be bid on. Examples of things you could bring would be; something specific to your hometown or state, but anything you decide on would be acceptable. Items for adults and children would be welcome. The silent auction final bidding will be after our evening meal on Saturday night.
We would like to see past and present pictures of you and your family. If you are able to bring some of these articles we will have a table for you to display them.
It is important that you respond what days of the reunion you will be attending by June 1st so that we can relay this information to the caterer for meals.
